Last night me and my sister asked our dad to watch a show on tv together. Our dad told us that in order to watch anything we'd have to memorize a scripture and tell him what it meant. I chose 1 John 4:4. Which says :
"4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."
So obviosly this scripture is telling us an affirmation of the sovriegn power of God. See it tells us that Because we are of God that we have already overcome our enemies. And it makes the point that it is not by our might that we have overcome. Our own personal power could not stand against those who are of the world. But it is by the power of God in us that is greater than them. So using this same logic then if God is not in us then we are fooling ourselves by believing we can withstand the enemy on our own.

The First Of Many
Hello there ^-^ I haven't blogged in quite some time so I decided to make this one as a new start of sorts. I will be using this as a daily devotional, a outlet for some of my frustrations and to help with my typing skills :). Hopefully i will be able to keep this up as a way to say what I'm feeling and help track my progress during my teenage years. I'm keen on keeping memories from my childhood and I think this will be quite the excellent time capsule.
